King Godred was a beloved King of Sodor during the medieval times. He used to live in Ulfstead Castle, and fought off invaders from the island. His crown was placed on display in the castle, but was stolen by thieves, who hid it inside a chest. Though the thieves were caught, the crown was never seen again. Stephen found the crown in the mine below the castle centuries later.
He appears in the special, King of the Railway, and is seen in the form of an illustration in an old book. His crown plays a pivotal part in the special.
